Contact

Lead form

The PPC Form plugin is installed. It delivers a lead only after a CRM URL and API key are saved under Settings → PPC Form.

A message sent from the contact form on Mintcanopy goes to the desk inbox, not to a vendor and not to a public comment thread. We answer the mail we can verify within three business days, and we do not answer requests to change a score for a fee.

Where the message goes

The form posts to the Mintcanopy inbox. It does not post to the vendor you are writing about, and it does not appear as a public comment. Include the page address and the sentence you think is wrong. A correction about a fee needs the vendor's current screen, described or attached as text. We reply within three business days when the address is real. We do not reply to a demand that a score move, and we do not reply to a pasted list of keywords.

What not to send

Do not send account numbers, tax documents, portfolio statements, API secrets, or customer lists. We do not want them and we will delete the message. A review can be corrected without any of those. If you are a reader who bought because of a page and you are unhappy with the vendor, the vendor's support is the path for the product. We can correct a false sentence. We cannot refund a subscription we did not sell.

Press and reuse

A short quotation with a link does not need permission. Reusing a whole review, or the screen drawings, does. Write first. The terms page is the rule. This page is only the address.

A useful letter

Page address, the sentence, and if it is a fee, the unit and the date you saw the screen. We answer in three business days when the address is real. We do not answer a demand to move a score, and we do not answer a block of keywords. Do not send secrets, statements, or customer files. We delete those. A vendor refund is the vendor's job. We can fix a false sentence. We cannot refund a product we did not sell.

A short quotation needs no permission. A whole review does. The terms page is the rule.

Three letters, and what happened

Letter one was a reader who said the home page had rounded away the ten-year fee. They were right. We put $30,000 back and dated the correction. Letter two was a vendor who wanted a 4.6 moved to a 4.9 because a partnership was "in discussion." We did not reply with a new score. We replied that a fee-screen change would be edited and a requested score would not. Letter three was a reader who attached a brokerage statement to prove a balance. We deleted the mail without opening the attachment past the filename, and we asked for the percent and the page address instead. Mintcanopy can fix a sentence. It cannot custody a statement, and it will not store one to be polite.

A useful letter has the page address, the sentence, and, if it is a fee, the unit and the date you saw the screen. We answer in three business days when the address is real. We do not answer a block of keywords, and we do not answer a demand that arrives as a threat. A refund for a product we reviewed is the vendor's refund. We did not sell it.

What a reply looks like

A correction reply quotes the sentence we changed and the date. It does not apologize for the existence of a skip paragraph. A refusal reply says we will not move a score and, if the fee screen really changed, asks for the unit and the date instead of a desired number. A deletion reply says the attachment was deleted and asks for the fact that would have been enough: a percent, a tier, a column name. Mintcanopy does not send the statement back, and does not store it. Three business days is the aim when the address is real. A keyword list gets nothing. A threat gets nothing. A vendor refund is not in any of those replies, because we did not sell the product.

Mail we delete

A brokerage statement, a customer CSV, an API secret, a tax document, and a password all get deleted. We reply, when we reply, by asking for the percent, the tier, or the column name, plus the page address and the date. Mintcanopy cannot correct a review from a position file and will not keep one. A request to move a score, with no new screen, gets a refusal. A request to move a score because the percent on the screen changed gets an edit and a date. Three business days is the window for a real address. The vendor's refund desk is not this inbox.

A letter that can be answered

Page address, the sentence, the unit, and the date you saw the screen. That is enough for a fee correction. A statement is not required and will be deleted. A desired score is not a unit. Mintcanopy replies in three business days when the address is real, quotes the sentence that changed, and dates it. A keyword dump gets no reply. A refund for Harbor Path, Folio Lens, or a bot is the vendor's refund. This inbox did not charge the card.

What we quote back

A useful reply from Mintcanopy quotes your page address and the sentence you flagged, then says what changed or why it will not. If you wrote that the fee guide hid the ten-year figure, the reply can say the home page now carries $3,000 and $30,000 and the date of that edit. If you wrote that a score should be 4.9 because a partnership is pending, the reply says the score moves when the screen moves. If you attached a statement or a customer file, the reply says the file was deleted and asks for the percent or the tier instead. We do not send the attachment back. Three business days is the clock for a mailbox that accepts replies. A no-reply blast of keywords is not on that clock. The vendor who charged you is still the vendor who can refund you.
